I don’t know if this is the intent of the toy, but we put in treats that are to big to fall out of the holes and then our dog works to unscrew the pill to get the treat out. It takes her a couple of minutes to do so we use it as a distraction when we leave the house. The Pet Stages works great and sticky has not been a problem for us.

I have 2 puppies and wanted to get them something that would keep them occupied and have other added benefits. This toy seemed to fit the bill. The only complaint I have about the item is that the holes in it are not big enough for much of anything to fit through. I did find that the buddy berries will fit through the holes, but even their puppy food is too big. I haven’t seen them use the toy for teething, but they will carry it around with them.
