I bought this just about 10 days ago. I live in Ohio and the second night it was out the temperature reached 10 below wind chill. The water was not frozen at all by the next morning or all day long! I am extremely happy with this product. By the way the cord is longer than it looks in the picture about 3.5 to 4 feet long which was perfect. I would highly recommend this product and I’m so happy I got it for the outdoor cats

This product works well. I’ve had temps in the low 20s and haven’t seen any sign of freezing water. You do need to keep your eye on the water level as it does seem to speed up evaporation. Been using this for my 3 chickens and I generally have to fill it up 2x a day. One caveat is that I don’t remember reading anywhere on the web page before purchase that this item needs to be plugged directly into an outlet. However, it did say so on the instructions when I received it. I’ve been using a short extension cord with no problems.

I love this bowl. It has worked perfect for what I need. I have a cute little kitten that basically adopted our family and unfortunately cannot stay in the house with us. (I have allergies and our landlords have a strict no pet rule) We have some colder winters and her water was freezing soon after I poured it into her bowl. This product is sturdy, hasn’t frozen once, has a great cord for pets, and is of good quality.
