All three dogs in my house prefer the water filtered by these filters over the non-filtered water. I also know it’s working by the amount of “crap” stuck in the filters when I change them. It’s a little expensive for my controlled budget, but worth the satisfaction of the dogs.

My cat loves the fountain. If the filter gets old she won’t drink from it. Amazon has a fast turnaround and a great price. I highly recommend both fountain and filters.

Have run the fountain with and without, and can’t decide if it makes much difference. I think maybe the fountain might stay a bit cleaner longer with. This is with one short-haired cat using it. Do run a lot of water through a new filter before installing, as they leak a lot of charcoal dust at first.
